A great day was had by all at the recent Glasgow Ferrari Charity Day at the Riverside Museum Glasgow.

Footman James’ Sarah Duffy and Warren Cooke reported that the sun was shining and the glorious weather brought families from far and wide to see the stunning Ferraris on display.

Visitors took advantage of the unique opportunity to take a ride in a Ferrari for a £25 donation to local charity, the Yorkhill Children’s Foundation. Many children (large and small) revelled in the experience as the engines roared and wheels span; ensuring Ferrari fans got their money’s worth. The Testarossa, iconic F40 and the F12 Berlinetta – the fastest Ferrari road car ever built were certainly highlights of the event.

In addition to the 40 Ferraris including many classics on display there was a wide range of activities for children to enjoy including a pirate ship with museum, soft play area, skittles plus music, raffles and refreshments.

Sarah and Warren received many positive comments from visitors, owners and customers throughout the event. “Everyone said what a brilliant day it was. The Ferrari owners were lovely and more than happy to have photos taken with their cars. They were kept busy all day; constantly taking passengers out and visitors were more than welcome to sit in the cars too,” explained high net worth account handler, Sarah Duffy.
