See Footman James & Patina at the London Classic Car Show

07 February, 2017

The London Classic Car Show (February 23-26) is fast approaching, and we can’t wait!

Packed into just one weekend there’ll be motorsport legends, the finest Ferraris, the first ever Historic Motorsport International, the Grand Avenue, a tribute to Jacky Ickx – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

And now, we’re happy to announce that on top of this fine list of classic car royalty, we’ll be making an appearance at the show!

Footman James will be sharing a stand on the exhibition floor with our partner Patina… and a very special car.

1937 ASTON MARTIN 15/98

Patina always know how to arrive in style, and this show is no exception. They’re bringing something very special.

At stand No. D145, as well as saying hi to us and Patina, you can take a look at one of Aston Martin’s finest pre-war models – the 1937 Aston Martin 15/98 Short Chassis DHC.

The car has clocked up less than 30,000 miles from new and has been owned by just one family. Gordon Sutherland encouraged a friend to buy the Aston, and it’s remained in the same family ever since.

In the late 1990’s, mechanical restoration work was carried out on the car by none other than Ecurie Bertelli, with a bare metal body restoration taking place in 2011.

Head home with a new classic
If you fall in love with the pre-war Aston at our stand, you could take it home.
The original owner’s daughters have put the classic up for sale. So, if you fancy an Aston like no other, head to the auction on the Sunday of the show.

You can still get tickets for The London Classic Car Show on the website. Just don’t forget to stop by stand D145 and say hello!
