Date: 07 May, 2017
Location: Himley Hall, Himley, Dudley, Staffordshire DY3 4DF
On 7 May 2017, Himley Hall will be hosting the biggest event for everyone’s favourite little car. British Mini Club’s British Mini Day looks set to be a marvellous day out for Mini maniacs around the UK, and here’s a mini taste of what to expect.
From Mini to MINI: the concours
It just wouldn’t be a celebration of Minis without a cracking concours. The Premier Mini Concours at Himley is the first round of the British Mini Club’s concours calendar, and there are 10 great classes to check out:
Quite a long list for something so mini…
Don’t miss the display
Sometimes the pressure of a concours judging is a bit too much for some people. Thankfully, at British Mini Day, that’s not a problem!
Everyone is encouraged to show off their Mini, and the Mini Show & Shine Display is the perfect opportunity to display your beloved car, without all the pressure of the concours.
Split into two classes (classic and modern), with awards for 1st and 2nd place in both as voted for by visitors, it’s a great way to show off your car. And fantastic for anyone who just wants to check out some great British cars.
Don’t worry if you don’t have a Mini to display, there will be plenty for sale during the day!
Clubs, traders and a (not so mini) jumble
Whatever class your Mini (or MINI) sits in, the Mini jumble will be full of all the parts, accessories, collectables and even clothing that you’ll ever need.
