Footman James Manchester Classic Car Show

Date: 16 September, 2017

Location: Event City, Manchester, M41 7TB

This September the Footman James Manchester Classic Car Show returns for another spectacular event. Full with hundreds of motorsport icons, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. Whether your interest is British Sports and Saloons, European thoroughbreds or American muscle cars it’s sure to be a nostalgic event.

Classic Cars
There will be an appearance from many of the UK’s best classic car clubs, showcasing a breadth of classic motoring over the two days. A few of our own partnered clubs will also be in attendance including but not limited to: Jaguar Driver’s Club, Lancia Motor Club, Mercedes-Benz Club and Porsche 924 Owners Club. There is expected to be a record number of clubs this year, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to meet with other fellow club enthusiasts.

Dream Rides
Sporting Bears Dream Rides will be offering 5-10-mile passenger rides in an array of iconic classic, sports and supercars with all proceeds from the rides being donated to Sporting Bears chosen children’s charity. A great excuse to take a ride in the car of your dreams whilst also donating money to a worthwhile cause.

Live Rally
There will be some motorsports icons at the Manchester Classic Car Show on the specialized demonstration stage, placed just outside of the main hall up to three times a day. Alongside this there will also be other classic rally cars from the ‘golden era’ of rallying.

Restoration Workshop
The Restoration Workshop will be in action over the two days with expert demonstrations by Leeds City College. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a savvy restorer these demonstrations aim to be able to help you improve at every level. There will be a range of techniques demonstrated including panel forming, electrics, trimming and welding.

Trade Stands
As all classic car enthusiasts know, there is often lots of work required to bring a car up to standard. Whether you have a barn-find or a concours classic, finding those specialist supplies isn’t always easy. Luckily, at the FJ Manchester Classic Car Show there will be plenty of people to provide advice and conversation regarding all aspects of restoration and car maintenance. There will be parts as well as tools, literature and even an autojumble for you to browse and maybe even try your hand at haggling.

Tickets and further information
You can purchase advanced tickets online which cost £12.50 for an adult. Children ages 0-16 years are granted free entry with a paying adult. If you chose to buy your ticket on the day, it will cost £15.00.

The show opens at 10.00am on all both days of the show and car parking is free.
