The Silverstone Classic is one of the world’s biggest classic motor racing festival. It’s a must-do for any classic car fan. If you haven’t been before, what are you waiting for? If you’re a repeat visitor, welcome back!
The three-day weekend is absolutely packed full of historic motor racing on the world-famous Silverstone circuit. Enjoy live demos, interactive driving activities, live music and much more.
On-track action
There’s over 20 races and demonstrations going on over the weekend, with more than 1,000 race entries.
Historic racing action includes Formula One, Sports Cars, GT and Touring Car grids, with a full day of qualifying on Friday and then racing scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
There’s also the Silverstone Classic RetroRun – an 80 or 110 mile driving route for classic cars. Don’t miss the RetroRunners’ Parade lap on the Sunday where drivers show off on the Grand Prix track.
Off-the-track entertainment
The track action might be the main event, but there’s plenty to do away from the circuit too.
Watch live demonstrations from world GP bike legends and eBay car restorations before getting some retail therapy in the shopping village.
If you’re inspired to get your own race or classic car, Silverstone Auctions will be hosting three auctions over the weekend. Or you can head infield and admire the thousands of privately-owned classic cars from the participating car clubs.
Every evening there will be a live music line-up, plus breath-taking aerial displays from Twister Aerobatics and their twilight pyrotechnics.
