Yorkshire Post Motor Show 2017

Date: 18 June, 2017

Location: Castle Howard, York, YO60 7DA

Celebrating its 23rd year, the Yorkshire Post Motor Show is heading to Castle Howard on Father’s Day, Sunday 18 June 2017.

1,000 acres of land will house 100s of cars and a whole lot of excited attendees for what promises to be another classic year for the show. Here’s a taste of what to expect at this year’s event.

Jaw-dropping surroundings
After a fantastic show in 2016, this year’s show is heading back to the classic surroundings of Castle Howard. While the event is taking place on both the North Lawn and the South Event Field, there’s also plenty to see and do in the Castle grounds, from cafes to playgrounds.

Come for the cars, stay for the setting.

Entertainment from the Kangaroo Kids
Visitors will get to enjoy stunts, jumps and cracking commentary from the Kangaroo Kid, Matt Coulter. Hailing from Australia, Matt is a record-breaking stunt driver, and he’ll be bringing his quad bikes along for a show that you do not want to miss.

If you’re trying to find him, listen out for the sounds of a quad bike. Or, if you can’t hear that, you’ll probably hear his witty commentary.

Cars, cars and more cars
Alongside all the entertainment and the setting, there are of course going to be a whole lot of classic cars. Close to 1,000 are expected at this year’s show, alongside a number of motor dealers and trade stalls, which are always worth a visit.

So, if you’re thinking of the perfect place to go for Father’s Day, we can’t think of much better than the Yorkshire Post Motor Show.
