Footman James has announced it will be sponsoring the ‘National Car Club Unsung Hero’ award, as part of The National Car Club Awards 2016, taking place at the NEC, Birmingham.
The National Car Club Awards 2016 will run alongside the Practical Classics Restoration & Classic Car Show which will attract visitors and exhibitors from all over the UK. The new awards ceremony will give enthusiasts, classic car club members and Classic Car Weekly readers the opportunity to make nominations in 16 categories of all things they love regarding their pride and joy.
All entrants will be nominated via a public vote with the winners being announced at the awards ceremony. Two members from every shortlisted nomination will be invited to attend as guests of the National Car Club Awards.
With awards ranging from National Car of the Year, Outstanding Support of the Next Generation and Best Car Show, many clubs, shows and enthusiast will receive their well deserved recognition.

How to vote for your favourites:
Nominations are now welcome via an online form, with a deadline on Monday 25th January 2016. Intensive judging by FBHVC chairman David Whale, Classic Car Weekly editor Keith Adams, Practical Classics editor Danny Hopkins and event director Dan Nwaokolo will reveal the shortlist on 1 February 2016. The awards shortlist will be announced on Friday 5th February 2016.
