Morris Enthusiasts Unite At centenary

Morris enthusiasts from across the country and beyond will be celebrating in style this weekend as they celebrate the marque’s centenary at Cornbury Park.

To commemorate 100 years since the Morris first took to the roads, Morris Minor Owners Club insurance partner Footman James is offering club members 12 months insurance for the price of 10 for those taking out a new policy prior to 31 August 2013. This offer is also extended to any Morris owner taking out a new policy at the Morris Centenary International Event this weekend (15th and 16th June).

To ensure the weekend celebrations kick off with a bang, Footman James is also offering visitors the opportunity to win a magnum of Champagne each day if they enter the free draw on the Footman James’ stand.

One of the highlights in the 2013 classic show season, the Morris Centenary International Event, which is organised by the Morris Minor Owners’ Club, expects thousands of classic enthusiasts and families to flock to the Oxfordshire venue over the two-day period. In addition to the hundreds of Morris cars on display, key event highlights include: a flying display, mini tank driving, wood carving, a marching band, Morris dancers, Punch and Judy, an owl and parrot display, bouncy castle and fairground. Saturday night is party night, sponsored by Footman James; revellers can enjoy live music from Morris and the Minors as well as a disco. Camping is available throughout the weekend.
