Footman James strengthens commitment to industry with new recruitment drive

Club insurance partner Footman James plans to strengthen its personal lines team with the recruitment of 24 new members of staff in the next two months.
The new recruits will be based in the customer service, sales and renewals departments to support the increase in calls expected during the peak sales period during the spring and summer months.
The recruitment process will involve a series of assessment centre days resulting in two intakes, one in February and one in March.
New recruits will go through an intensive specialist vehicle training plan, where the new members of staff will focus on developing an in-depth knowledge of the classic car and bike product. This will also include club/partner visits to provide a real understanding of what’s important to the classic enthusiast. The new teams are expected to be fully operational from the middle of March onwards.
