WHAT TO EXPECT
Classic Bike Insurance
Every year, our team at Footman James are on hand to offer you classic bike insurance quotes and advice.
Not only this, Footman James always aim to impress with our trade stand display as we have won Best Trade Stand Exhibit on numerous occasions. This has included our 2017 win for displaying a 1939 AJS V-4 and a 1947 AJS Porcupine, courtesy of the Sammy Motorcycle Museum and our 2018 April win for showcasing a 1963 Marsh MR4 and 1946 AJS Model 18, from our partners at the National Motorcycle Museum.
Traders & Autojumble
Located at the Staffordshire County Showground there’s always plenty of room for traders.
This October, we are expecting to see over 900 traders make their way to the show, including; dealers and autojumble stands.
There is no other place in the UK that you will find as many traders and autojumbles as there are at the Stafford Motorcycle Show; after all, it is the biggest of its kind in the world.
Once again, classic bike clubs are showing their support, offering their knowledge to all those that are seeking answers to their classic bike related questions.
For those of you who are not yet part of a club, this is your chance to find out more about what the perks are of joining.
Just one of the benefits of joining a classic bike club is that you can take advantage of specialist club rates. With Footman James this is possible! So, why not check out just some of the classic bike clubs that we work with to see if any grab your interest?
Look around the Private Entries which have been polished and shined to grab your attention. Each private entry will be competing for a host of awards, including Best in Show.
Keep your eye open for the special guests attending the classic bike show. Last year, Aaron Slight, arguably one of the best riders never to win the World Superbike title, was present over the weekend. Other famous faces have included; John McGuinness, Carl Fogarty, Sebastian Vettel, Richard Hammond and James May, just to name a few.
Classic Racer GP Paddock
Outside you will find the Classic Racer GP Paddock, where famous classic bikes will be fired up twice a day for the public to see.
One of the newest attractions to the Stafford show is the hugely popular Restoration Theatre, where attendees can get up close to real-life restorations and pick up valuable tips for their own classic bike projects.
The Wall of the Death
Over the past few Stafford Bike Shows, the Fox Family have been putting on a daring display as they circle around on their classic bikes amongst a 20ft high vertical wall.
Please note – entrance to The Wall of Death requires a small fee to be paid on the day.
Closing date for advanced tickets is 8:30am on Monday 8th October, so there’s plenty of time to get your hands on your ticket in. Any time after this, standard entry price will need to be paid.
