Chateau Impney Hill Climb 2017

Date: 08 July, 2017

Location: Chateau Impney Hotel & Exhibition Centre, 7 Impney Regent Centre, Droitwich, WR9 0BN

The Chateau Impney Hill Climb is back for 2017, and you can expect more stunning classics than ever before to make their way to the incredible country house.

The classic concours
Once again Footman James will be sponsoring the Concours d’Elegance where you’ll see the wonderful world of classic cars in all their glory. Unlike most concours events, the Footman James Concours d’Elegance is judged by the attendees themselves.

Just to give you a flavour of what to expect, the winner of last year’s Footman James Concours d’Elegance at Chateau Impney was an incredible 1932 Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3. Other entries included a 1937 Bugatti T57 and a 1928 Amilcar C0.

The notorious hill climb
But there’s more than just a concours. Over 200 incredible cars will be tackling the tricky Chateau Impney Hill Climb, in an attempt to etch their name in motoring history.

All the fun of the (vintage) fair
As well as all the classic car action, both on the hill and off, there’s plenty of other things to enjoy over the weekend. One of which is the family friendly, and probably hard to miss, vintage funfair.

Over by the Riverbank, the vintage fair keeps the classic theme alive, with the oldest travelling Ferris wheel the UK has to offer. If you’re not a fan of the Ferris wheel, there’s a carousel, helter-skelter and air gun shooting range to try out instead.

A house with a lot of heritage
It’s hard to not feel your jaw drop when you first see the Chateau Impney country house. The grade II listed building stands as a perfect backdrop for the beautiful cars that will be on display.

As well as looking the part, the house has its own motoring heritage, as the venue has been hosting different events for over 50 years.
