Goodwood Revival 2017

Date: 08 September, 2017

Location: Goodwood Motor Circuit, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 0PX

A firm favourite in the international motorsport calendar, Goodwood Revival is best known for its incredible retro style.

Recreating the romance and glamour of historic motor racing, the event celebrates a golden era at Goodwood Motor Circuit.

As well as attracting historic motorsport fans from around the world, plenty of legendary drivers and riders (past and present) make an appearance – you could be rubbing shoulders with motorsport royalty!

Vintage glamour

Period dress is a huge part of Goodwood Revival, which is the only event to be staged completely in authentic period costume.

Get your 1940s-60s style glad rags on – there’s a daily Best Dressed Competition and the judges are all about the historical details.

Wheel-to-wheel racing

Goodwood’s iconic Motor Circuit is at the heart of Revival and the classic cars don’t show any sign of slowing down. Hundreds of priceless machines hurtle around the track at full speed in a bid to win some of the most prestigious historic motorsport trophies.

On Friday see the cars in their practice sessions and enjoy a one-hour race into the sunset to close the day

Saturday’s racing programme features 7 races, including the St Mary's Trophy.

The closing Sunday offers another seven races where winners will be crowned in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy, St Mary's Trophy, and the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration.

Over the Road

Away from the action on the Motor Circuit – aptly named Over the Road – there’s plenty to see and do.

Get into the swing of the bygone era with live performances of retro music and enjoy the fun of the fair with vintage rides and attractions, including a roller disco.

You can also stroll along the Revival High Street, with lots of stalls offering unique memorabilia and interesting gifts.
