MG & Triumph Spares Day

Date: 21 February, 2016

Location: Stoneleigh Park, Waverley Equestrian Training Centre, Coventry Rd, Cubbington CV32 7UJ

Next month sees a bit of a bonanza for drivers of classic MGs and Triumphs taking place.

There are surely few, if any, events that inspire the same amount of enthusiasm in owners of these beautiful British sports cars than the MG & Triumph Spares Day.

Whether you’ve got a majestic MGB or a dazzling Dolomite, Coventry’s Stoneleigh Park is the place to go to satisfy all your auto needs on Sunday, February 21.

Cool cars and super sales
For just one day, Stoneleigh Park will become a veritable hive of knowledge for all things Triumph and MG. There will be displays of marvellous machines from more than 20 car clubs, while experts will also be on hand to share their know-how and answer all manner of questions.

The MG Owners Club, Club Triumph, Harrogate MG Club, Midget & Sprite Club and Triumph Sports Six Club were among those in attendance at last year’s event.

There will also be plenty of exciting sales featuring classic Triumphs and MGs. Perhaps it will be a Stag or a TR6 2.5 that will take your fancy. Or maybe a Roadster from the 1950s or a BGT might be available to tempt MG lovers.

Don’t leave without…

• Splashing out at the autojumble: If you’ve been desperately trying to find the final piece of your restoration jigsaw, then look no further. Or perhaps you want to give your classic some TLC by upgrading some of the parts. It’s all here, including lots of automobilia on all things Triumph or MG. Perhaps it’s a poster or a handbook you’re looking for? You’ll be spoilt for choice.

• Swinging by the trade stands: Last year, Coventry Classics, Classic Oils, Rare Bits 4 Classics and Yorkshire Triumphs were among the companies displaying their wares at the event. If you’re in the trade and don’t want to miss out on the action, be sure to book your place through the website.

How to get tickets
Tickets for the event, which runs from 9.30am to 4pm, cost £9. If you are aged 14 or under, you can get in for free.
