The Royal Automobile Club’s Annual Historic Awards enters its second year in 2020 with Footman James sponsoring the Collection of The Year award. The Club has been at the heart of the motoring industry since 1897, and their Historic Awards aim to celebrate and continue this rich heritage.
The Collection of the Year award aims to recognise a British-based collection which has made a significant contribution to the historic motoring movement in the UK – from private collections to those curated by museums large and small. Examples of such contributions might include sharing the collection with the wider public through physical or virtual events, seminars or museum activities.
Other categories in the Historic Awards include Competitive Event, Motoring Spectacle, Race Series, Restoration, Outstanding Journalism, Personality, Young Achiever and the Lifetime Achievement Award.
