The largest number of vehicles yet joined Footman James for their final Coffee & Chrome meet of the year on Sunday 15th September. Once again, the third meet was held within the grounds of the Chateau Impney in Droitwich, a venue steeped in motoring history due to its iconic Hill Climb. The event has doubled in size since its inaugural meeting in January, with all 500 places getting snapped up before the event.
It was a beautifully sunny morning as the first few vehicles made their way up the driveway to the Chateau. From veteran vehicles to American hot-rods and from supercars to Goldwing bikes, there was an incredible array of motors to admire. There was also great attendance from Footman James’ partners and local classic clubs including the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, BMW Car Club, The Market and Fisher Performance.
The atmosphere throughout the morning was incredibly friendly, with owners mingling between the vehicles and cosy firepits with a coffee and a complimentary bacon buttie in hand. Many people attended with their families and a few made the most of the fantastic grounds by bringing their dogs along for the ride as well.
The Footman James Drivers Club at the Chateau took you back in time with Chesterfields, retro furnishings and period music - the perfect place to catch up with friends and take shelter from the elements.
