24 February, 2017
It may seem a mile away, but we see no problem in starting to get excited about Concours of Elegance 2017.
The stunning celebration of world-class cars is returning to Hampton Court Palace on September 1-3, and they’re already saying the event will be “the biggest and best yet”.
Here’s a taste of what to expect at this year’s Concours of Elegance…
World-class classics
It probably comes as no surprise to hear the event will play host to some of the finest classic cars the motoring world has to offer. Organisers are being fairly tight-lipped about which cars will be on display, but we do know visitors can expect to see a range of historic vehicles from the 19th century through to the present day. Keep an eye out for more announcements over the coming months!
A veteran celebration
If you can tear yourself away from it, there’s more to see than just the main Concours d’Elegance. With the help of the Royal Automobile Club, the event will be displaying an incredible range of veteran cars, from pre-1905.
Harry’s modern collection
Alongside the classics, the Concours of Elegance will feature a modern celebration of motoring. Harry Metcalfe, founder of Harry’s Garage on YouTube and Evo Magazine, will be curating a collection of the finest supercars in the world today. We have a feeling they may be hard to miss…
The Talking Concours stage
For 2017, the event will completely revamp the Talking Concours stage. This year visitors will be able to see parades across the weekend, with some cars driving up onto the stage, giving fans an even better classic car experience.
Tickets for this incredible celebration of cars are not on sale until March. We’d recommend heading over to the website and keeping it in your favourites; there are going to be a lot of announcements to whet your appetite over the coming months.
