Join us at the Footman James Paddock in the 2019 Concours of Elegance

On September 6-8th the Concours of Elegance is returning to the grounds of Hampton Court Palace. This prestigious motoring event will see the world’s rarest cars displayed across the palace gardens, all of which have invited to compete for the exclusive prize of ‘Best of Show’. Unlike other events, the sole prize for the Concours is of extra importance because the award is voted for, not by a panel of judges, but by peers - the owners of the cars on display.

The display will include a number of extremely rare, as well as several unique, models, including one of the most famous racing Aston Martins in history, the DB4 GT Zagato ‘1 VEV’. Taking their place alongside ‘1 VEV’ are one-off cars including the V12 Vanquish Roadster Zagato, DB9 Spyder Zagato Centennial and Virage Shooting Brake Zagato Centennial.

Footman James are proud to be the official insurance partner for the Concours of Elegance, and this year, we will be hosting the Footman James Paddock over all three days of the event. From this paddock, situated in the heart of the action, we will be hosting a selection of our own very special vehicles, all of which belong to Footman James Private Client policyholders.

With a diverse range of cars on display from all eras of motoring, there will be something to catch the eye of every historic motoring enthusiast.

Some of the highlights of the paddock display will include the ultimate 60’s GT: the Ferrari 330, which will sit alongside one of today’s ultimate sports touring cars, the Aston Martin DBS Volante Ultimate Edition, on Friday.

Saturday will welcome the rare supercar that is the Porsche 993 RS – the last of the air-cooled Porsches, as well as the splendid Jaguar E-Type AVV 1 - one of the most recognised and original in the UK. On Sunday pre-war motoring aficionados will be able to admire a 328 BMW - the famed 30’s sports car.
