British Mini Day – Himley Hall 2019

British Mini Day will be held at the Himley Hall, an 18th century building which is set amongst the backdrop of 180 acres of spanning landscape for enthusiasts and visitors to explore.

In the years gone by, Himley Hall served as a base for the Lords of Dudley and their knights. But this May, we warmly welcome you to join fellow Miniacs for the 27th British Mini Day held at this location.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Kicking off the summer season in the motoring calendar, British Mini Day at Himley Hall is open to all variants of Mini, from 1959 classics to the present day.

TRADE & MINI JUMBLE

As one of the most established Mini events, British Mini Club attracts the majority of the UK’s best Mini traders, which means that the events are one of the best location to source that elusive part, receive advice from experience enthusiasts as well as being able to browse collectible models and clothing. You may even be able to secure specialised insurance for your Mini – Footman James will be in attendance and happy to discuss your needs and policy queries.

MINI CONCOURS

The Premier Mini Concours takes place at Himley Hall, starting off the first round with some of the most sublime examples of both classic and modern Minis. Though, there are 10 classes in total to suit every type of Mini. The prime sponsors of British Mini Day at Autoglym, who will be giving winners of each individual class an Autoglym polish pack.

There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awarded. The classes include:

  • Classic Mini (1959 – 69)
  • Mini (1970s – 79)
  • Mini (1980-89)
  • Mini (1990 – 00)
  • Mini Cooper - Cooper S
  • Mini Clubman
  • Mini Van & Pickup
  • Modified & Custom Mini
  • Modern MINI (2001-2006)
  • MINI (2007 – onward)

There will also be Autogylm ‘Best in Show’ sections for both modern MINI and classic Mini, focused on best engine, interior, paint, presented and Best Mini in show.

MINI 60 DISPLAY / SHOW N SHINE

Join in and celebrate Minis 60th year by participating in the British Mini Club’s Mini 60 Decade Display. The aim of the cause is to reunite as many Minis as possible, per decade, ultimately creating a displayed timeline of Minis that all attendees can enjoy. There will be awards handed out for 1st & 2nd place of each decade.
