CarFest North is a fantastic weekend filled with music, delicious food, family fun and of course lots of cars.
Music
A large variety of talented musicians will be performing across two stages during the event. These include The Proclaimers, Rick Astley and Madness to name just a few.
Cars
The theme on the track sprint this year is ‘Body Types’ and will include a collection of every kind of body type imaginable! As well as on the track, you’ll be able to see these cars in the Paddock alongside several other spectacular vehicles. Here you can also watch exclusive interviews with the dynamo drivers.
The Sporting Bears will be back offering you the chance to take a thrilling 10-mile ride in your dream car. Vehicles available to ride include a Lola T70, Ford Model T Bucket Hot Rod and Rolls Royce Dawn. You can book your ride by visit the CarFest website – rides cost £200 per vehicle with the proceeds going to Children In Need.
Car-topia is a must-see for the event. Here you’ll find a vast amount of car clubs from across the UK alongside a sensational array of vehicles.
Food
At the Food Fair, you can see big names such as Angelica Bell, Frances Quinn, Glynn Purnell and many more. Plus, there will be delicious festival food spanning a wide range of cuisines, an artisan food market and even a vintage tea room!
Family Fun
Each day the Showground you can see horse show jumping sessions, camel racing and amazing Arena Cross stunt displays. The Kids Theatre will feature flying Seagull displays as well as a Roald Dahl and the Imagination Seekers Live Show.
You’ll also find Oktoberfest (an authentic German Village), a Vintage Village, Car-nival parade and toy fair.
The Great Festival Dash
The Great Festival Dash is a 2.5km or 5km fun run on Saturday morning to raise money for Children In Need. Expect to see Pudsey, a bunch of famous faces and lots of runners in fancy dress! The run will take place at 10am and will only be available to camping ticket holders.
