Classic Ford Show 2018

Once again, the premier event for classic Ford enthusiasts will dominate the Santa Pod Raceway for 2018. There will be an array of events ongoing throughout the day as well as seeing stunning displays from classic Fords to modern modified variants. 

 

WHAT'S ON

 

MK1 Escort 50th Anniversary

2018 will be celebrating Ford’s iconic model as it turns 50 years old this year. This family-favourite classic car marque will delight MK1 enthusiasts as there will be a special curated 30-car display to mark the occasion. In the line-up there will be a variety of classics from an early 1968 Deluxe saloon to ex-competition examples. Better yet, if you own an MK1 you can be in the line-up too. All you need to do is send an email to the event organisers at classicford.ed@kelsey.co.uk.

'Run What Ya Bring'

Newly surfaced, competitors have the chance to race down the track on the 1/4 mile drag strip at Santa Pod. The drag tests the skills of visitor’s and they can drag race alongside other Ford enthusiasts in a safe environment. Each competitor will receive a full performance print out that scores their reaction time as well as terminal speed and elapsed time. You can book your place at the event from 9am. All you need to do is head towards the 'Run What Ya Bring' sign-on office and show your full UK or European Driving License. 

Show & Shine

Classic Fords will be battling it out against each other to be crowned the best Ford. Participants will include modified Fords as well as our favourite classic Fords. The winner will receive a trophy on the day as well as having the opportunity to display their vehicle in the restricted Show & Shine paddock. 

Club Displays

There is estimated to be over 1,000 vehicles attending, so, what better chance is there for clubs to recruit some new members! Did you know that if you are a member of an affiliated Footman James club, you could be entitled to specialist insurance rates! Why not check out our club list?

Retail Village

Find everything you need to in the Ford Retail Village. Even if you are not searching for that special part to complete a project, you may find something unique on the stands, whether that's memorabilia or collectors’ items.  

Camping

Why not enjoy the fun for longer and make a weekend out of the event? Camping is available from Saturday 2^nd June. You can arrive from 12:00-22:00 to set up camp. 

Funfair 

For the little enthusiasts, there will be the Santa Pod funfair which is open throughout the afternoon and the evening. 

 

ADMISSION

 

Tickets are on sale now.

• Adult entry tickets are priced at £25. Please note, when purchasing an adult ticket, it will also enable you to take two children aged 14 and under for free with each paying adult.
• For additional Child Entry there will be a £5 charge.
• Adult camping tickets are priced at £7 (add-on to entry)
• Child camping tickets (5-14) are also priced at £7, though children under 5 will be admitted for free.
• If you would like to display your car, this is also an add-on to entry and will cost you £2 for an individual display vehicle pass.
