Founded in 1976, the MMOC brings everyone together with a love for Morris Minors. Their National Rally is one of the biggest events in the community and it really shows off the magnificence of Morris Minors.
As many as 1.6 million Morris Minors were built between 1948 and 1971, and these ‘jellymould’ shaped motors have a fond place in British history.
40 years of MMOC
The National Rally is always superbly turned out with supporters and owners alike. Last year’s event at Catton Hall in Derbyshire celebrated the Club’s 40th anniversary with plenty of cake and hundreds of beautiful motors – what more could you ask for?
As well as a huge number of local car clubs, the sunny weekend includes a Grand Parade, air display and a brass band.
So far, we don’t know too much about the 2017 rally, but the organisers are always looking to go one better. Suggestions for this year’s event include local caterers, specialist demonstrations, car SOS and Morris Minor National Rally merchandise.
We do know that there will be Morris Minors of all models and body types, including Series MM, Series II and Minor 1000, and judging will take place across the following categories:
• Beginners Concours
• Concours
• Custom & Modified
• Masters
• Grand Masters
