Racing
Pro Mods are drag racing’s fastest and wildest door cars and at this year’s event, they’ll be racing in Round 4 of the MSA British Drag Racing Championship.
You’ll also find the UK Nostalgia Superstock and American Superstock Racers at Santa Pod. These classes are dedicated to the racers of the 60s and 70s. You can expect to see wheels up launches and fender to fender racing, with the winner being the first across the line within their recorded dial in speed.
You can even get your car on the famous drag strip in the ‘Run What Ya Brung’ section. Sign on fee is £20 for Friday and £25 for the weekend. Full details are available on RWYB.com.
Show & Shine
You’ll also get a chance to display your car in the Show & Shine section of the show. It’s free to enter and you could go home with a trophy! Categories include Best Modern Muscle, Most Original Mopar, Best Hot Rod and many more.
Classic American Car of the Year 2018
Mopar EuroNats is hosting heat 6 of the Footman James Classic American Car of the Year Award 2018. The winner of this heat will be crowned on Sunday and invited to compete against the other heat finalists at the Classic Motor Show in November.
You can view the next heat dates and venues on our Footman James Classic American Car of the Year 2018 page.
1968 Car Corral
The Car Corral this year goes back 50 years to when muscle cars were a common sight on America’s roads. Expect to see classics such as the Dodge Charger, Plymouth Road Runner and Chevrolet Chevelle. All 1968 models are welcome to join the corral on the weekend.
Burn-Out Content
The Mopar Euro Nationals are looking for 8 entrants to compete in their burnout contest this year, with the winner receiving a trophy and two tyres of their choice. This is a very popular part of the event with cars, trucks and hot rods all taking part.
Friday Night Cruise
After meeting at 7pm at the entrance to Santa Pod, a plethora of American cars will be cruising to Billing Mill – a family pub next to a lovely lake. There will also be a trophy up for grabs – Best Cruise Car.
Entertainment, Catering & Traders
In the evening you can enjoy music in Fuelers bar from Neon Valley and The Mighty Toodle & Pips. During the day, The Straight Aces will be entertaining the crowd at the Car Corral with classic rockabilly numbers.
Throughout the event there will be a variety of traders and catering stands for you to enjoy. The perfect opportunity to find that rare part for your American classic.
