Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance has an amazing history that dates back to the 1950s. Located in one of the USA’s most acclaimed golf courses, polished tyres meet perfect turf in one of the most competitive events in the automotive world.
While the Concours is most definitely the highlight, there’s also the Tour and RetroAuto:
Tour d’Elegance
After 2016’s rerouted Tour d’Elegance, which had to be redirected around firefighters fighting the Big Sur wildfire, the tour returns to its original course.
The Tour departs from Portola Road in Pebble Beach and arrives in Carmel-by-the-Sea where the cars are displayed on Ocean Avenue. It then returns to a Champagne toast back at Pebble Beach.
RetroAuto
The Inn at Spanish Bay ballrooms is an absolute must-visit for any automotive enthusiast. Home to Pebble Beach’s RetroAuto, it offers an incredible look at some rare collectibles and memorabilia as well as luxury items and the latest tech. Plus, it’s open to the public for free.
Concours d'Elegance
Sunday 20th August is all about the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. 200 cars line up on the famed 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links and are judged for their historical accuracy, technical merit and flawless style.
