As a wonderfully hot afternoon shifted into a breezy summer’s evening, hundreds of classic vehicles made their way to Bicester Heritage for a night to remember.
The well-known home of Scramblers opened its gates for the first ever Coffee & Chrome collaboration meet titled, Scramblers X Coffee & Chrome Collective Assembly.
Both Scramblers and Coffee & Chrome usually meet over breakfast with their enthusiastic members on a weekend morning, but the 16 August also marked the first ever occasion that both embarked on an evening meet for everyone to enjoy.
Combining elements from both the Scramblers Assembly and the Coffee & Chrome Collective meets, the sold-out Scramblers X Coffee & Chrome Collective Assembly featured pre-war classics, archetypal British machinery, Japanese icons, modern supercars and more displayed on the historic airfield of Bicester Heritage, as the sun dipped behind the famous hangars.
And that’s not all, all attendees were offered a free sausage butty on the night by Footman James, too, another carryover from the sought-after Coffee & Chrome Collective meets. The Wriggly Monkey Brewery were also on-hand serving alcoholic beverages and Average Joe offered a bespoke barista coffee experience that puts the name in Coffee & Chrome. Our partners The Classic Valuer and Classic Motor Cars were also in attendance on the evening too.
The little ones were kept entertained by Young Driver, with fun drives around a racetrack for children and to top it all off they could even enjoy a scoop of ice cream from Mr Whippy afterwards.
