Footman James Concours d’Elegance theme announced for the next Chateau Impney Hill Climb 2019

We are pleased to announce that the Footman James Concours d’Elegance will return to the Chateau Impney Hill Climb on the 13th – 14th July 2019. For the past 4 years we have supported the Hill Climb through our sponsorship of the Concours event, with 2018’s theme being the ‘Best of British’.

Last year saw iconic British marques going head to head for a chance to be crowned the winner including Morgan, Jaguar, Lotus, Bentley and Aston Martin. Aston Martin became the official winner of the ‘Best of British’ theme and was well represented by an Aston Martin DB 2/4 MK1 and a stunning Aston Martin DBS Coupe.

2019

As enthusiastic purveyors of the classic car movement, both Footman James and the Chateau Impney Hill Climb strive to celebrate heritage engineering and this year will be no different, as the official theme for the 2019 Footman James Concours d’Elegance is ‘Through the Ages’. There will be two excellent examples displayed for four distinctive periods. These classes include:

• Pre – 1925
• 1926 – 1950
• 1951 – 1975
• 1976 – Present

With such an extensive theme to work with, there is sure to be a plethora of interesting vehicles to pique your interest, set against the background of the beautiful Chateau Impney hotel.
