Date: 17 April, 2016
Location: National Motor Museum, Brockenhurst, SO42 7ZN
You know spring has very nearly sprung with the arrival of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club’s (AROC) first UK event of the year.
The National Motor Museum (NMM) in the picturesque New Forest village of Beaulieu is the setting for this gathering.
Around 500 of the Italian marque’s motors are likely to come out to play.
Sunday April 17 (10am-5pm) is the date to put in your diary, whether you’ll just be looking or intend to bring your Alfa along to take part in the action.
Old and new and a chance to buy too
The event promises to have something for everyone across the Alfa Romeo spectrum. Members will be displaying a wide array of iconic motors, ranging from the exhilarating new 4C Spider to machines dating back to before the war.
You’ll also get your chance to purchase a new or old motor from a visiting Alfa Romeo dealership. Perhaps a Giulietta or MiTo QV may tempt you? Or maybe you’re after something of an older, more classic vintage?
You can also pick up an Alfa Romeo-related bargain from the visiting the AROC Club Shop, while getting some insider knowledge from the experts on hand.
Don’t leave without…
• Swinging by the trade stands: All things Alfa Romeo are here, offering the chance to find that missing link in your Alfa restoration project.
• Enjoying the World of Top Gear: Beaulieu’s other attractions, such as its tribute to the BBC motoring show, are all included in the ticket price. You could check out the museum itself, Beaulieu Abbey or even the Palace House. Several of the rides are also available.
• Saying cheers: Refuel after browsing the trade stands or raise a glass to your Alfa at the event’s hospitality unit.
• Visiting the Brabazon Rooms: Great food and drink are on offer at the stunning Brabazon Rooms venue
How to get tickets
Advanced tickets cost £15 for adults, with AROC members getting a £2.25 discount. Children’s tickets cost £9. Tickets on the gate are the same for adults, but cost £10 for kids.
