Motorsport at the Palace

Date: 27 August, 2017

Location: Crystal Palace Park, London, United Kingdom SE19 2BB

What better way to end August than a weekend at one of the oldest motorsport venues in the country? London’s Motorsport at the Palace will take place at Crystal Palace circuit – the only track in London.

We’re proud to be sponsoring this prestigious event, which will see dozens of car clubs take part in a showcase of iconic marques, celebrating all eras of motoring, spanning over a century.

The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Group, British Hot Rod Association, and even Billy’s Bangers will all be hosting static displays at the annual event.

Private owners can also show their rare and interesting breeds, in a separate area reserved on a first come, first served basis.

Whether it’s taking part or simply spectating, die-hard devotees and lovers of classic motorsport will be in their element.

A palatial competition
Former racing car drivers, vintage enthusiasts and even first-time riders will compete in a line-up of 75 cars on each day. Participating motors will span more than a century of automobile history, from pre-war vintage to modern day classics.

Among last year’s winners is a Ford Mustang GT350 in the A3 and A4 classes, a Ford Anglia 105E in Class C15 and a Sylva Phoenix in Class C17.

Fun for all the family
It’s not just the competitive element that people come for. There’s a range of entertainment to suit both kids and adults alike.

Rock Ola Rockets will be providing live music while vintage singer Jess De Giudici will be entertaining the crowds throughout the two-day event.

A family fun fair will be on site, and there will be visits by beloved children’s characters, including Peppa and George Pig and the Transformers – the perfect photo opportunity for kids who fancy a break from automotive heaven.

Tickets and further information
A single day advanced ticket costs just £12 for adults and children under 15-years-old can get in free. If you choose to pay at the gate, an on-the-day ticket costs £15.
