27-29th March 2020

Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show 2020

WHAT TO EXPECT

With over 1,000 cars on display and more than 250 exhibitors, the show boasts a huge amount to see and do over the March weekend. Whether you’re a classic car enthusiast or want to share your passion with family and friends, the competitions, celebrities and auctions are likely to surprise and delight.

CLASSIC CARS

Take a journey through the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration show floor to discover classics you love and remember. From lovingly restored Austins to pristine Ferraris, visitors are bound to find something special in this collection of 1,300+ classic cars.

Special displays in 2019 included:

  • A replica Gen II, which was originally seen in the film ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’
  • The 1902 James and Browne (one of just two left in the world!)
  • A 1930 Standard Big 9 Arrow Special that's been beautifully displayed as the hundreds of pieces it was found in

CLASSIC CAR AUCTIONS

The classic car auction returns after a strong year in 2019 where sales reached a total value of over £2.4 million! Particular highlights of the auction were a 990 Mercedes 420 SEC which sold at more than double its original estimate, a rare right-hand drive 1982 DeLorean DMC-12 and a 1969 Fiat Dino 2.4 Coupe that gained a huge amount of interest from exited bidders.

“This was CCA’s third year at the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show and yet again a fantastic start to our year. Well over £2 million worth of cars sold and a sales rate of 79% is a testament to our vendors and buyers alike. See you there next year!”
-Gary Dunne, Auction Manager - Classic Car Auctions

DREAM RIDES

The Sporting Bears Motor Club will be offering visitors a once in a lifetime opportunity to take a ten mile ride as a passenger in their favourite car. Whether your ultimate ride is a steam engine or Lamborghini Huracan, the Sporting Bears Dream Rides Garage will offer you the chance to experience it in exchange for a charitable donation. All money raised goes towards children’s charities across the nation, so it’s all for a wonderful cause.

TRADER VILLAGE & AUTOJUMBLE

Pick up a bargain in one of the greatest places in the UK to find all the motoring spare parts, literature and accessories you could ever need! The hundreds of stands will ensure there’s something for everybody and makes this an essential pit stop while you explore the rest of the show.

ON THE FOOTMAN JAMES STAND

We’ll once again be attending the show this year to offer bespoke insurance quotes on your classic car. We have a few surprises in store - more details will be revealed soon!
