Footman James has recently supported a very special rally which saw fifteen Citroen 2CVs make their way across England and France to raise money for the important work of the halow project.
The 2019 Deux Chevaux Challenge started in Hampshire on Friday 25th October, with the Citroens setting off for Portsmouth to make the overnight ferry to St. Malo. An iconic French car, the Citroën deux chevaux (two horses) is the perfect choice for the rally. With bags of charm, long-travel suspension and rugged character, it’s an ideal companion for the challenge.
On the Saturday 26th, the 2CVs rallied through the French countryside, where a few unexpected challenges were thrown in along the way! Then on Sunday, they drove to Le Mans and experience the Mulsanne Straight before taking a scenic route to the Caen and a ferry back home. All the proceeds fundraised from the rally go to the halow project.

The halow project supports young people aged 16-35 with learning disabilities lead independent and fulfilled lives. They are committed to ensuring that they provide the help these young people need to become more involved in the community and the opportunity to enjoy the same life experiences as any other young person.
