The Prize

It's a double prize spectacular today as two winners' and their guest can be in with the chance of winning one of two prizes, courtesy of the Heritage Skills Academy at Bicester Heritage.

By entering the competition, you can win either:

  • A space for you and a friend on the Inspect your classic like a professional course on Sunday 3rd Feb 2019
    • This one-day course will give you the knowledge on essential vehicle checks as you learn the names of the components and how to check them; including, tyres, steering, engine and lighting checks. 

or

  • A space for you and a friend on the What to look for when you buy your first classic course (date TBC)
    • This one-day course will guide you through the pitfalls of falling for the first vehicle that catches your eye, allowing you to gain knowledge and practical experience of examining potential restoration vehicles and how to select the right one, the first time. 

Both courses will be based at the Heritage Skills Academy, Bicester Heritage between 09:30 - 17:00 each day. 

Light lunch will also be provided and tea/coffee will be available all day

Terms & Conditions

  1. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of The Ardonagh Group Limited or any of its group undertakings from time to time, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
  2. The promoter of the prize draw is Footman James (the “Promoter”).
  3. The prize draw is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
  4. All entries must be submitted by via online entry form. Only one entry per person is permitted.
  5. The opening date for entries is 8:00am on 19/12/18. The closing date of the prize draw is 8:00am on 20/12/18. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
  6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  7. Two winners, with the correct answers, will be chosen by random draw on the 20/12/18 ("Draw Date").
  8. Each winner and their guest will receive their selected one-day course from either 'Inspect your classic like a professional' course or 'What to look for when you buy your first classic' course at the Heritage Skills Academy, Bicester Heritage. Location: Bicester Heritage, Main Stores, 90 Buckingham Rd, Bicester OX26 5HA. The 'Inspect your classic like a professional' course will take place on 03/02/19 at 9:30am. Dates and times for the 'What to look for when buying your first classic' course will be confirmed at a later date. The winners and their guests will receive a light lunch and tea/coffee will be available throughout the day (for both courses). Times are 9:30-17:00 each day. 
  9. The winner will be notified by using their details provided at entry before 12:00pm on the draw date and further details from Footman James may be asked. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 48 hours of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner
  10. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
  12. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  15. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  16. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy, which can be found at the Promoter’s website.
  17. The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
