English Footballers Love Affair with Cars

It comes as no surprise that footballers are notorious for splashing out on their cars. And, it’s a well-known fact that leasing cars is popular among footballers, so that they get the chance to drive lots of different vehicles, and on their wage, they can afford to do so.

We’ve taken a look at their car collections over the years in celebration of England making it to the Euros 2020 final! #ItsComingHome

Harry Kane

Of course, we had to start with the current England captain. Harry Kane is known for his love of British Cars. He’s driven and owned Range Rover, Jaguar and Bentley to name a few. Impressive though they all are, when he feels the need for speed and luxury, he looks to his supercar; Bentley Continental GT Supersports, costing around £212k. It’s a pretty penny!

Raheem Sterling

Over the years, Sterling has become quite the car connoisseur. From Range Rover to Bentley to Mercedes, he’s been around the block of luxury and boasts quite the collection. But the one car we’re really interested in is his silver Bentley GTX 700-4. Customised to the max it’s estimated worth is £500k. We’ll repeat that… £500k.

John Stones & Kyle Walker

With enough money between them in one week to purchase multiple Range Rovers, John and Kyle turned heads when they were famously spotted turning up to training in a black £5k classic Mini Mark II. But of course, between them they have driven a selection of high-end cars. Both Kyle and John have driven a black Mercedes AMG and John owned a Royce Cullinan, Kyle preferring a black Lamborghini Huracan which has a starting price of £188k, to name a few.

John Terry

Switching gears to an old hat, John Terry is famous for his love affair with old Ferraris. He bought a Ferrari 275GTB in 2015 which was produced between 1964 and 1968. Also in his collection he has an incredibly rare Ferrari Enzo (only 400 were ever produced) that’s worth an incredible £2m and a Ferrari 458 Spider worth around £170k.

David Beckham

Finally, and never forgotten, David Beckham. Beckham is no stranger to classic or super cars. In his classic collection over the years, he’s owned a Ford Escort (the car that started it all), 1969 Porsche 911, 1998 Ferrari 550 Maranello and 1997 Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Plus, Becks has also dabbled in owning and riding bikes too, From Ducati to Triumph.
