The International Historic Motoring Awards, which are set to take place on 14th November 2013 at St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, London are held in celebration of the historic motoring industry and will recognise a number of worthy winners across 13 categories.
Nominations for the various awards are received from around the world across a range of specialist categories, demonstrating just how important historic motoring has become to so many people. This year, finalists include companies, cars and individuals from Europe, The USA, Australia and Asia.
This year’s expert judges welcome World Sportscar Champion and F1 driver Jochen Mass and Octane Germany’s Presenting Editor, Berthold Dšrrich, who will be joining motoring heavyweights such as five-time Le Mans Winner Derek Bell, and Ian Callum, director of design for Jaguar cars.
The awards will be covering a wide range of categories throughout the International motoring world, including motor sports, concours, classic car events, publications, restoration, car clubs and lifetime achievements for outstanding individuals.
Footman James provides cover for some of the largest collections in the UK and is delighted to sponsor the ‘Museum or Collection of the Year’ category for the very first time this year.
“The awards are expected to attract entries and attendees from all over the globe and we would be particularly proud to see club partners and their members recognised in this prestigious category,” said Andy Fairchild, managing director of Footman James.
Nominations for the Museum or Collection of the Year should be made online by 30 September 2013. For further information on the awards visit www.historicmotoringawards.com
