Around 3000 bikes expected and we think the organisers would have been pleased with a turnout pretty close to that. While mainly modern bikes there were some classic gems.
From the east there was a group of 3 MZ Trophies who travelled together and a Jawa Speedway bike immaculately restored to a condition better than it's 60s heyday. British examples included Triumph and Triton.
A good and excited crowd for each of the performances from the UKFM stunt team; the two riders leapt a seemingly impossibly long way into the air time after time and then all but parted with the bike at the highest point before gathering it up and landing!
With no rain worth mentioning and the forecast improving, hopefully the next set of shows will be brighter!
See you at the Silverstone Classic next weekend.
