Footman James is a finalist in The Insurance Times 2014 Awards in the Broker Awards category for Excellence in High Net Worth Broking
The broker received the news following its submission earlier this year. The Footman James team then presented its entry to a panel of expert judges, with the winners set to be revealed at the insurance party of the year on 2 December in London at Battersea Evolution.
This year Insurance Times received a record number of entries across more than 20 categories that highlighted some of the greatest achievements in UK general insurance over the past 12 months.

Our High Net Worth Broking team work diligently and professionally to provide a niche service for those who own classic vehicles worth more than £50,000.”
Having been at the heart of the classic vehicle movement for more than 30 years, Footman James has negotiated a bespoke package with one of the UK’s leading high net worth insurers – Chubb Insurance Company of Europe Se.
David concluded: “We currently arrange cover for almost £1bn worth of classic vehicles, including some of the most well-known and prestigious marques. As specialists in high value vehicles we understand and share the passion of the enthusiasts.”
Over the past 4 years, Footman James has effectively re-designed its High Net Worth insurance product to be one of the best on the market. Previously written as a motor trade risk, the team has developed a specific product that targets those clients effectively, ensuring the processes are smooth and consumer friendly. Its small team live and breathe the service and are passionate about what they do, having built up solid relationships with its clients with a full understanding of their insurance needs. The final element of the award submission focused on the work the team has done surrounding underwriting risks, enabling Footman James to partner with one of the leading High Net Worth insurers with the highest level of delegated authority on motor products it provides within Europe.
