Car-Fest North is a classic car festival for the whole family, jam-packed full of cars, music, food, and family fun.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Car-Fest North aims to bring more cars than ever before, more motor action and more speed machines. With a new track layout, Car-Fest North will feature two paddocks with new collections that have never been seen before at the event.

NEW TRACK

The new track is an amazing 2.2km (1.35 miles) long and circles the entire festival. Drivers can also boast their skills before taking to the track in the Demo Zone, showing off their wheel spins, drifting capabilities and much more.

TWO PADDOCKS!

Double excitement comes in the form of two paddocks that will feature some of the best, fastest and loudest cars around, entries for this year’s show include, Autocross, Historic Rally, Stock Car Racing, Vintage Racers, Super Cars, Hot Rods, Movies Cars, and more.

A MINI CELEBRATION

Many events this year are paying homage to one of our favourite British made marques of all time, Mini. Car-Fest North is looking at bringing as many Minis to the show as possible, to create not a mini, but a mighty display of the icon.

SPORTING BEARS DREAM RIDES

Popular at many classic car shows, including the NEC Classic Motor Show, Sporting Bears Dream Rides will be on hand to offer visitors a ride of a lifetime in one of their exclusive cars from their fleet. For a small fee, visitors can experience what it is like to ride in a car that they never thought they would have the opportunity to do, and better yet, 50% of the money raised will go towards BBC Children in Need, whilst the rest will be distributed evenly across other charity partners.

You can book a ride now and check out what vehicles you have the chance to get behind the wheel of.

TEST DRIVE FACILITY

New for 2019, Car-Fest North will allow those seriously thinking of buying a car to jump in some of the latest vehicles from prestigious car manufacturers such as Jaguar, Aston Martin, Mercedes and more.

Or, for budding young enthusiasts, the Big Learner Relay will be attending where young car lovers can take a 20-minute driving experience in a manual car, fitted with dual controls. Book your experience now!

MUSIC BONANZA!

Would a festival be a festival without music? Car-Fest North has a host of musicians playing to keep you entertained over the entire weekend. Over on the main stage, hosted by Chris Evans, will see some of the most iconic names in the music industry take centre stage. Performers include The Jacksons, All Saints, Jools Holland, Kaiser Chiefs and Ziggy Marley.

Over on the second stage, also known as the Wigwam Stage, will see some of the best up and coming acts today, including, Emma Stevens, The White Lakes, ERICA, Hugo Valentine, and Grand Old Uke of York.

CAR-FEAST

Not only will cars be celebrated across the weekend, but a fine selection of food and drink will be available at the Street Party.

New to Car-Fest, adults will be able to enjoy the first-ever Car-Fest Pub, hosted by Timothy Taylors. Pub quizzes, comedians and open mic bands will entertain you as you sip on a selection of award-winning cask ales and beers.

In addition to the Car-Fest Pub, the show will allow you to experience wine tasting and chocolate from the Chocolate Factory.

As well as musicians taking centre stage, over on The Kitchen Stage you can cast your eyes on some of the best chefs, foodies and restaurateurs who have joined the line-up to share their culinary delights and experiences.

Chefs include Henry and Ian from Bosh, Great British Bake Off’s Briony May and TV presenter/best-selling author, Juliet Sear.

A STEP BACK IN TIME

Feel an element of nostalgia as the vintage fun-fair and circus head to Car-Fest North with plenty of entertainment to see you through the entire weekend.

Over at the Pavilion you can get your dancing shoes on as you can tip-toe your way into your own dance lesson. Anything from the Charleston to the jive and jazz to swing, there’s plenty to keep you moving. You can even take inspiration from the variety of dance performances that will also be taking place at the Pavilion across the weekend.

For those of you that want to be wowed by acrobats, balancing acts and dagger acts, Happy’s Circus will be the place to go. With a theme taken from cinema’s popular film, ‘The Greatest Showman’, you’ll be amazed as the Ringmaster puts on a show you’ll never forget.

If adrenaline is your thing, then the Wall of Death will certainly give you a thrill. Measuring 20ft high and 30ft in diameter, the vertical Wall of Death will see breath-taking stunts from motorcycle riders as they put their lives in danger with their live performances.

The world’s largest vintage travelling fun fair will also be present with traditional fair rides, from the Chair-o-plane to the Dodgems and the Gallopers to the Swingboats, children will never be bored.

THE KIDS KINGDOM

For fun and adventure, the Kids Kingdom will uncover your inner child. No matter what your age is you can keep occupied with the Skaters Unite, an area for skateboarders, scooterists and professionals; a wooden adventure land at The Fort, and meet and greet legendary children’s TV presenters Dick & Dom. Not only this, there’s a roller disco, the School of Rock instrumental area and a Zorb Zone.
