Date: September 4th-6th, 2020

Times: 10:00 – 18:00 Friday & Saturday, 10:00 – 17:00 Sunday

Location: Hampton Court Palace, East Molesey, Surrey, KT8 9AU

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Concours of Elegance returns in 2020 to put on a show that promises some of the “rarest and most astonishing cars ever created”.

The event has a history of being held at prestigious locations, including Windsor Castle, St James’s Palace and The Queen’s official Scottish residence; the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh. This year the show will be held at Hampton Court Palace and promises to be a date to remember.

Showcasing a selection of 60 of the world’s rarest cars, guests will be treated to seeing vehicles never shown in the UK previously. As well as features and collections on display, the event will also be awarding a series of ‘Best of Show’ awards, which are uniquely voted on by other owners, rather than a panel of judges. Clubs are also getting the red carpet treatment, with the most prestigious clubs being offered a chance to win The Club Trophy and a featured spot at next year’s Concours of Elegance main event.

FEATURES

Le Mans 24 Hour Celebration – McLaren F1 GTR
The spotlight display this year will be celebrating what can be described as one of the most astounding motorsport feats of all time; the procession of five McLaren F1 GTRs that stormed through the Le Mans 24 Hours race in 1995 and took 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 13th place. All five cars will be proudly displayed side-by-side at the event as a testament to the time a humble road car beat endurance racing cars not once but five times in a single day.

1966 Ford vs. Ferrari
A brand new display for 2020 will re-tell the tale of Ford vs. Ferrari in Le Mans in 1966. Film buffs may recall the award-winning ‘Le Mans '66’ movie in 2019 that raised awareness of the saga – this is a chance to experience the vehicles from the story up close. The display includes the GT40s that won against the Prancing Horse and the Ferrari racing cars that were eventually beaten; the 250 LM, 330 P3 and 275 GTB Competizione.

Future Classics
A collection of some of the rarest, most exclusive and latest luxury and performance cars in the world. Visitors can expect to find cars here that are likely to become must-have future additions to any dedicated car collector’s garage and includes a Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer Vehicle Design, a Bentley Continental GT No.1 Edition and more.

The Junior Concours
A very special feature that showcases a collection of pedal cars for junior enthusiasts that want to start their classic collection early. The display will feature miniature classics from renowned marques, including Jaguars, Porsches, Ferraris and more. What these little vehicles lack in horsepower, they make up for with exquisite detail and rarity – this is a chance to see perhaps the world’s most iconic pedal car; an Austin A40 made from scrap metal directly from the Longbridge Austin factory.
