Simply Land Rovers

Date: 07 August, 2016

Location: Beaulieu, New Forest, Hampshire, United Kingdom, SO42 7ZN

Land Rover owners of the world (or at least the UK) are set to unite this August when the National Motor Museum (NMM) stages a spectacular event.

The picturesque New Forest village of Beaulieu is the venue for the Simply Land Rovers event on August 7.

Old and new vehicles are welcome, whether they’re Defenders, Evoques or the stylish Series 1.

While you are there, you Land Rover enthusiasts can explore The NMM, a partner of Footman James and a real Aladdin’s cave of vintage car treasures.

Forest drives and off-road driving fun

Fancy your own unique off-road driving experience? Then Simply Land Rover’s Forest Drive course is made for you. And you don’t even need to own a Land Rover to have a go.

You can reserve your slot, providing you’re aged 24 or over and bring your own driving licence. A 4x4 forest drive in your own Land Rover costs £25 and £15 for extra sessions after that.

A Land Rover Experience Forest Drive is perfect for those of you who want to be a passenger or driver in one of the Land Rover Experience’s models.

The first batch will depart at 10am, with the final group going at 4.30pm. Previous Drive-goers have enthused about its amazing mud-splattered sharp drops and steep inclines.

Don’t leave without…

• Voting for your favourite Land Rover: The People’s Choice Award will see the winner take the coveted Beaulieu Simply Land Rover trophy

• Getting the full Beaulieu experience: This is the equivalent of a petrol-heads’ sweet shop. The ticket includes all the Beaulieu attractions, such as the world-renowned car museum itself, World of Top Gear and Beaulieu Abbey. The museum’s 250-plus vehicles, many of them classics, help to tell the story of Britain‘s road and circuits spanning back 130 years

Advance tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children (5-17) for Land Rover drivers and passengers. Gates open from 9.30am, with the restaurant open for breakfast and hot drinks to get your day off to a cracking start.
