Techno Classica Essen 2017

Date: 05 April, 2017

Location: Messe Essen GmbH, Norbertstrasse, 2 45131, Essen

Considered by many to be the world’s greatest classic car show, the Techno Classica Essen is back for 2017.

The 5-day event will take place on 5-9 April 2017 at the Messe Essen event space in Essen, Germany.

The numbers behind the event
When you claim to be the greatest classic car show in the world, you need the numbers to back it up. Thankfully, the Techno Classica Essen has them.

In 2016, the event had over 200,000 enthusiasts and 1,250 exhibitors from 41 countries visit the exhibitions 17 halls.

2,500 cars were up for sale over the 5 days and visitors got to enjoy over 200 presentations from different clubs and museums from around the world.

This year looks set to be even bigger (somehow), with classic cars and vintage bikes on display as far as the eye can see. But, the Techno Classica Essen is a trade show above all else. Whether you’re looking to purchase a car, or a restoration project, or just that one part that you desperately need, this is the event to visit.

The exhibition space will be split up into multiple trade centres for dozens of different manufacturers, with a separate auction space.

As well as all of that, you’ll also find historic commercial vehicles, tuning cars, models, accessories and everything else a classic car fan could want. This really is the show that just keeps on giving.

Tickets and further information
A premium day ticket for ‘Happy View Day’ (also known by its less exciting sounding name, ‘Preview Day’) will cost €40. A day ticket for any of the other days (which we’re sure will still include some pretty happy viewing) is €22 for adults, €18 for 15-17 years and €11 for 8-14 years.

Tickets are also available with transport to the event, for around €5 more, with family tickets also available.
