Tour Auto Optic 2000 2018

Organised by Peter Auto, the 27th Tour Auto Optic 2000 event will bring together more than 230 classic cars for a massive five-day classic car drive discovering the French secondary roads interrupted by races on circuits and timed stages on closed roads.

What to Expect

CLASSIC CAR DISPLAY

On Monday 23rd April, cars will take part in a display in the Grand Palais in Paris.

COMPETITORS

Tuesday 24th April will see competitors (competition and regularity) depart from Paris for the five-day competition, with the last leg on the Cote d’Azur.

ITALIAN CLASSICS

Each year, Peter Auto highlights one manufacturer or type of vehicle that has taken part in the history of the Tour de France Automobile. This year, the spotlight is on Italian makes and models that are no longer produced.

The Route

Monday, April 23: Paris Grand Palais(Administrative checking’s and scrutineering) - Open to the public from 10:00 to 17:00

Tuesday, April 24: Paris - Besançon. Official start from the Château de Courances, finishing at Besançon (Parking Battant from 17:00 to 22:00)

Wednesday, April 25: Besançons – Megève. Finish in Megève (Le Palais from 17:00 to 22:00)

Thursday, April 26: Megève – Avignon. Finish in Avignon (Allées de l’Oulle from 17:00 to 22:00)

Friday, April 27: Avignon - Aix-en-Provence. Finish in Aix-en-Provence (Arena du Pays d’Aix from 17:00 to 22:00)

Saturday, April 28: Aix-en-Provence-Nice. Finish in Nice (Place Masséna from 17:00 to 22:00)

Spectators

The public can enjoy free access (except Paul Ricard €10) to the times events on the circuits. This will be three hours of on-track entertainmen.
