HOUSEHOLD INSURANCE PRIZE DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The household insurance prize draw promotion (the 'Promotion') is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of The Ardonagh Group Limited or any of its group undertakings from time to time, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Promotion.
  2. The promoter of the Promotion is Footman James (the 'Promoter')
  3. Entrants must request and complete a quote for a household insurance policy from Footman James. Purchase of a household insurance policy is not necessary.
  4. There will be one winner selected at random by an independent supervisor and will receive up to £250 off their classic car or motorcycle insurance with Footman James. 
  5. If the insurance premium is more than £250 the winner will be required to pay the remainder of the premium
  6. The opening date for entries is 6.00am on Friday 1st July 2022. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Promotion at any time.
  7. The prize draw will take place every calendar month until the competition is withdrawn
  8. Each prize draw will begin on the 1st working day of each calendar month and end on the last working day of each calendar month.
  9. The draw will take place within 7 days of the competition expiring.
  10. The winner will be notified within 7 days of the draw taking place.
  11. The winner has 30 days to claim the prize. If they do not respond within this time, a new winner will be redrawn.
  12. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. If you wish to opt-out of the prize draw, but would still like to receive a quote please email news.views@footmanjames.co.uk and we will exclude you from the promotion.
  14. To the fullest extent permitted by law the Promoter excludes all liability for claims, damages and losses incurred in or connected with the use of the prize and the Promoter does not accept liability for entries that are not submitted on time or in full.
  15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for applications not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
  16. The Promotion is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  17. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  18. Applicants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entering promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to honour the Promotion for anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  20. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the applicants or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Promotion except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  21. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy, which can be found at the Promoter's website.
  22. The Promotion will be governed by English law and applicants to the Promotion submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
