Park & Picnic at Beaulieu

Date: August 27th, 2020

Time: 17:00 – 20:00

Location: Beaulieu, New Forest, Hampshire, United Kingdom, SO42 7ZN

WHAT TO EXPECT

Beaulieu will be hosting their first ever Park & Picnic event, opening up the beautiful grounds in the heart of the New Forest National Park to enthusiasts and families looking to soak up the Summer atmosphere.

Visitors are encouraged to park-up with their pride and joy but everybody is welcome, whether you’re driving a classic or your everyday vehicle. Whether you’re there to enjoy the scenic park, soak in the atmosphere or visit the attractions (including exhibitions at the National Motor Museum, live music or children’s play area), the evening should prove to be a hit with the whole family.

FEATURES

The National Motor Museum
All attendees will be granted exclusive evening access to the National Motor Museum, which includes brand new exhibitions for 2020. The ‘Motoring in Miniature – the Toys of Your Childhood’ exhibition boasts over eight hundred toy and pedal cars, which should delight visitors looking to celebrate motoring trinkets and playthings of the past.

Little Beaulieu
Parents rejoice – Beaulieu has opened a brand-new adventure play area to keep the little ones entertained while you relax in the park. Designed with a fantasy theme, the play area is filled with enough secret passages and fun features to keep youngsters entertained for hours.

Live Jazz & Blues
Local group ‘Acoustic Jass’ will be performing live throughout the evening, performing their New Orleans inspired style of jazz and blues music. Visitors are encouraged to relax and enjoy a sip of champagne in the open parkland as the band play well-known numbers and popular tracks from the early twentieth century.

No Picnic? No Problem
The on-site Brabazon Restaurant will be open to all attendees and offers take-away meals of fresh pizza, fish & chips and a Ploughmans style picnic box (with vegetarian options available). For those looking for a lighter snack or a way to cool off, the café will also be open to serve food, hot and cold drinks and ice-creams.

COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS

Beaulieu have been paying close attention to the latest Government guidance and taken careful considerations to keep visitors safe. Guests will be granted their own bays on entry, providing everybody a safe space to enjoy your picnic while adhering to social distancing.

Visit Britain has awarded them the industry standard ‘We’re Good To Go’ award, which should bring peace of mind to those planning on attending.

Please note that guests will be required to wear face masks inside the event’s indoor spaces.
