Gary’s hands-on approach shows that with time, patience and a bit of commonsense, even the most complex classics can be understood, repaired and enjoyed at home. His videos feel like you’re right there in the garage with him, learning together as each project unfolds.
Classic Obsession began with a humble Volkswagen Beetle, then grew when Gary purchased his first Mercedes: a pink SL Pagoda. From that point on, he’s restored and refined a wide variety of cars and today, his garage includes a Rolls‑Royce Corniche convertible, a Porsche 928 and a Lotus Elite; a collection that reflects the passion we share at Footman James.
Gary enjoys getting together with other owners and specialists and through these collaborations, Gary introduces us to the people whose skills, stories and dedication give our favourite classics their lasting character.
Classic Obsession is a community focused on helping the classic car enthusiasts come together to learn, restore and celebrate the cars we love and we’re delighted to be part of that journey.
