The classic vehicle calendar is getting in to the swing of things as the summer is fast approaching and classic vehicle enthusiasts are itching to attend shows. So, without further ado, here are our selected motoring events that we think you should consider this May:
Location: National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, SO42 7ZN

Whether you are new to the classic car scene or have been an enthusiast for years, Donnington Historic Festival will surely get your blood pumping and hearts racing with a jam-packed timetable.
Expect fantastic race paddocks, live action, motorsport racing and classic car club displays.
Location: The Classic Motor Hub, The Old Walls, Bibury, GL7 5NX

Join Footman James partners, The Classic Motor Hub on Sunday 5th May for their very special Italian Coffee and Classics event. Located in the historic site of RAF Bibury, The Hub welcomes Italian vehicles from all eras.
Expect classic vehicles, vintage cars, high performance cars and motorcycles as you enter the Italian themed event. Confirmed for the day is Anglo-Italian band Hetty & the Jazzato who will be on site singing a range of Italian music with a modern twist.

Known as one of Britain’s premier Ford events, Simply Ford will be returning to the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu this month. All Ford owners are invited to Beaulieu on Sunday 5th May, which promises to be a terrific day for Ford owners and classic car enthusiasts.
Don’t delay, there’s only a few days to go until one of the biggest Ford extravaganzas of the year.

Footman James’ affiliated club partner, British Mini Club, welcomes back their British Mini Day. British Mini Day is show dedicated to the iconic British marque, from Minis dating back to as early as 1959, through to the present day.
Expect plenty of celebrations for Minis 60th anniversary, trade and Mini autojumbles, a premier Mini concours, show and shine, Minis for sale, and club displays.

Over 1000 Jaguars from all eras will be welcomed to the stunning ground of Blenheim Palace. Presented by Footman James club partner, Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, the festival will celebrate the theme of Jaguars On Film.
Expect special guest interviews and a unique display of some of the most recognisable Jaguars that have hit our screens over the years.

Save the date for new meeting which is racing to the UK as global car culture website, Petrolicious, will be bringing their event to Bicester Heritage this May.
Expect hundreds of hand-picked cars, Petrolicious photo shoots sponsored by Footman James, the Singer dynamic test mule, Petrolicious films, a classic car made of jewels, awards and much more.

Beaulieu’s Spring Autojumble is the first taster of what is to come at their Beaulieu International Autojumble later in this year. Explore what Beaulieu has to offer as your ticket also allows you access to a range of Beaulieu’s top attractions, including the National Motor Museum, the World of Top Gear, Beaulieu’s Abbey and more.
Not only this, your ticket also entitles you entry to Beaulieu’s Land Rover Rummage, if you are attending on Sunday 19th May.

May must be the month for Land Rover shows as lucky lovers of Land Rovers can also take the opportunity and attend the Land Rover Legends event which gathers together a collection of modern and classic Land Rovers. Expect anniversary parades, star cars, awards, club displays and even Tiger Moth flying lessons!

The two-day octane event will host a variety of vehicles including a collection of Bugattis that will be celebrating the Bugatti Owners’ Club’s 90th Anniversary. The Bugatti Trust will join in with a very special car being showcased for their Summer Exhibition, La Vita Rossa will once again be celebrating all things Italian and entertainment will be included throughout the weekend.
