Top UK automotive photographers to follow on Instagram

If you’re looking to fill your Instagram feed with top automotive photography talent, or searching for inspiration for your own page, Footman James has you covered. We’ve done all of the scrolling and double tapping, so you don’t have to, bringing you a top list of the UK’s hottest automotive photographers.

Rob Cooper

A relative newcomer to our list, you might’ve seen Rob’s work in Classic Driver or other classic car lifestyle magazines. His style is to capture the story around a car and we’ve been an admirer of his work for a while now.

Tom Shaxton

Tom, a resident Goodwood snapper, has been branching out further afield to bring his followers a taste of classic car style in some of the most lust-worthy locations.

Nat Twiss

Nat’s clean and daring approach to photography makes his work really stand out. You’ll want to follow him if you’re a fan of Porsches as he’s the resident photographer for Sports Purpose.

Mark Fagelson

High-end car photography doesn’t come better than this. You might recognise some of Mark’s work from billboards or large automotive manufacturer campaigns. We suggest you give him a follow if you want to see some of the latest and greatest supercars and events.

Alexander Charles Tapley

Normally confined to widescreen on your Instagram feeds, this photographer knows how to capture cars on event. Watch out for cover shoots for the likes of TopGear and CAR, too.

Alex Lawrence

A mix of new, classic and something in between, expect the usual mix of eclectic cars, interesting locations and well-known automotive faces.

Amy Shore

Featuring in our top female car enthusiasts to follow on Instagram post, Amy’s been on our radar since her very first shoot at Bicester Heritage. Over 1,000 posts on Instagram later, her work has changed but her ethos stays the same – tell the story that everyone else misses. Expect different viewpoints, subject matter and sometimes more people than cars.

Mark Riccioni

The travelling photographer that seems to spend more time in Japan with import cars than in the UK, Mark’s got a knack of showing you how a car drives in a still moment.

A vignette of perfection, each of Richard’s images are always flawless and hard to beat. If you follow one Instagram page of photography focusing on new cars and epic scenery, make it this one.

Peter Aylward

Peter takes us back to a time where everything was simpler, beautiful and full of high-octane fuel. Peter’s focus remains firmly on bringing his followers the action from the major historic racing circuits, events and the rarest cars.
