13 July, 2017
On the weekend of July 8-9, in stunning surroundings and picture-perfect weather, the Chateau Impney Hill Climb took place at the Impney Estates, Worcester.
The event was packed to the rafters with amazing cars and motorsport enthusiasts, with vehicles old and new taking on the famous Hill Climb, and fans enjoying displays, exhibits and much more.
One part of the event was our very special Concours D’Elegance, where we brought together 17 of the finest cars ever produced.
Normally in a Concours, a judging panel will make the overall decision about which car is the best, but at the Footman James Concours, things were a little different. The voting came down to the fans and enthusiasts at the event.
And now, we can reveal the results of our stunning Concours D’Elegance.
The final results
1. Bugatti T57 Atalante
2. Bugatti Chiron
3. Ferrari Enzo and Ferrari Dino
5. Jaguar CX75
6. Bennetton F1
7. Jaguar F-Type Project 7
8. Sunbeam Grand Prix 1922TT & Bugatti T23 Brescia
10. A selection of baby Bugattis
11. McLaren 12C MP4 & McLaren 12C
13. Talbot 15 HP

17. Lola
Mixed bag for Bugatti
We had a lot of Bugattis on show at the Concours, with the marvellous marque taking six of the 17 spaces. When it came to the voting, the results were mixed for the manufacturer.
They took the top two spots in a closely fought battle for pole position, with the second place Chiron receiving close to double the votes received by the joint third-placed Ferraris.
However the much-loved baby Bugattis and beautiful T23 Brescia only reached the middle of the results table, while the T40 Supercharged and T46S weren’t quite so lucky.
A concours for the ages
All the cars on display were truly incredible, and the variety of styles, marques and ages made the Concours one to remember.
Nothing sums up variety more than seeing a collection of baby Bugattis sat alongside the dramatic Jaguar CX75!
Thanks to everyone that came down to the weekend and took part in our fabulous Concours D’Elegance. To check out photos from the weekend, head over to our gallery here.
