You’ve Got to Love a Mini!

14 July, 2017

Tuesday 11th July saw Mini Spares Midlands, part of Footman James partners, the David Manners Group (DMG), once again host the annual Classic Mini Open Evening.

Despite the weather turning, both owners and enthusiasts of classic minis still came to show their love and support for one of the most beloved British car makes; whilst also enjoying an evening of fun and entertainment.

On the night there were a range of prizes, including The Most Loved Mini that was awarded to a fun loving 1993 Mini called Mario.

Other competitions included The Mini Most in Need of Love and the Furthest Travelled Mini, which commuted all the way from the Canterbury area!

For those that felt a little peckish, DuCafe was on hand to provide some home-made cakes and hot drinks to help keep the spirit alive in the damp weather.

Despite coinciding with the British Mini Club, the Classic Mini Open Evening welcomed both members and non-members. David Hollis, Chairman of the British Mini Club was also in attendance to show his support and provide enthusiasts with information and club news.

Footman James staff were also present and had a wonderful night speaking to likeminded individuals, whilst also helping those who needed insurance advice and quotes throughout the evening.

Not only this, Mini advice was also available from the DMG Mini Experts who were also offering trade discount on all Mini parts bought on the night.

The best part was that enthusiasts could have all this for no cost. The night even included a free drinks voucher for those that were one of the first lucky 50 to arrive. All you had to do was arrive and enjoy!
