Barn Finds & Restos at the Classic Car & Restoration Show
This March, Footman James attended the Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show and hosted the Barn Finds competition over three days of a feature-filled show.

The NEC welcomed over 26,000 visitors to the show with 160 motoring clubs also in attendance. At the Footman James Barn Find Display, we hosted the Barn Find competition which saw 20 unearthed classics vying for visitor's votes. At the end of the show, it was Andy Longfield's 1960 Mini 850 which named Best Barn Find 2023 and lifted the trophy.

We also displayed 10 classic vehicles from our Coffee & Chrome community in varying degrees of restoration - from barn finds to concours worth restorations. These included:

• 1937 Fiat 500A Topolino owned by Jacqui Kowalewsky
• 1970 Hillman Imp (ex-1976 RAC Rally car) owned by Adrian Hardy
• 1946 Healey Westland Roadster owned by Warren Kennedy
• 1967 Series 1 Jaguar E-type Roadster from Classic Motor Cars
• 1959 Jaguar XK120 from Classics Motor Cars
• 1975 Rolls-Royce Cornice owned by Gary Mavers, Classic Obsession
• 1977 Lotus Elite owned by Gary Mavers, Classic Obsession
• 1967 Land Rover owned by Tom Rafferty
• 1957 Porsche 356 owned by Dom Chinea, The Repair Shop

Plus, Gary Mavers from the YouTube channel Classic Obsession didn't just display two vehicles on our stand he also took part in meet & greets on our stand every single day of the show. He had a fantastic time meeting viewers of his channel, talking them through the restoration work he's done, and is planning on doing, to his cars.
