Motoring Events this Month: June 2019
Summer is here and so are some of our favourite classic car and bike shows and events. Soak up the sun, book your tickets and see what is on offer this month:
JUNE 5, 2019 – EARLS BARTON CLASSIC CAR AND BIKE MEET
Location: Earls Barton Showground, NN6 0EP
Time: 16:30 – 21:00
From May to September the Earls Barton Classic Car and Bike Meet comes to the Earls Barton Showground. Hundreds of different classic car and classic bikes, new and old, make their way to the meet.
For just £3 per vehicle, you, your friends, and your family can enjoy an evening that is everything classic related. Better yet, you can also opt to bring your own food and drink for a nice family picnic! If not, there's still plenty of options for refreshments on the day.
The meet has a relaxed atmosphere and a friendly vibe. So, if you are looking for a chilled afternoon with fellow classic car and bike owners, then this may be for you!
JUNE 5 - 6, 2019 – LONDON CONCOURS
Location: The Honourable Artillery Company, Armoury House, City Road, London, EC1Y 2BQ
Time: 10:00 – 20:00 (both days)
Fancy a day of fast cars, concours vehicles and some of the world’s most premium automobiles? Then this year’s London Concours is the place to be.
Set in the stunning grounds of The Honourable Artillery Company, the London Concours has a lot to offer, including Footman James’ sponsored Icon’s class. The Icons Class will allow you to cast your eyes on the likes of a Bentley 4.5L Supercharged ‘Blower’ Tourer, a Lamborghini Countach Downdraft, a Ferrari 288 GTO and a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost ‘Nellie’, plus a whole lot more.
If you are looking at attending the event in style, there are plenty of hospitality options available, including afternoon tea in the gardens, the member’s clubhouse and the awards drinks reception/concours drinks party.
JUNE 15, 2019 – SIMPLY VW
Location: John Montagu Building, Beaulieu, Brockenhurst SO42 7ZN
Time: 10:00 – 18:00
Saturday 15th June, Beaulieu, home of the National Motor Museum, invites all VW owners to their museum complex for Simply VW.
From modern VW’s to classic VW’s, the event will have it all as all models are welcome.
Special features include the Vintage Village, which will have unique items from the 1920s and 1980s, and live entertainment across the day.
Not only this, discover everything that Beaulieu has to offer as tickets also include entry to The National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear, Palace House & Gardens, Beaulieu Abbey, The Secret Army Exhibition and unlimited rides on the Monorail and Veteran Bus.
JUNE 16, 2019 – FOOTMAN JAMES COFFEE & CHROME
Location: Chateau Impney Estate, Droitwich
Time: 09:00 – 12:00
Footman James' Coffee & Chrome June meet is now completely sold out.
Coffee & Chrome is organised by Footman James and is located at the Chateau Impney Estate in Droitwich, home of the Chateau Impney Hill Climb. The meet sees hundreds of enthusiasts come together with a variety of vehicles on display. Attendees get to tuck into a bacon sandwich and quench their thirst with a nice hot drink, whilst being able to browse the 200 acres of gardens, admire the Grade II listed Chateau and chat to like-minded classic car fanatics.

JUNE 22 – 23, 2019 – THE FOOTMAN JAMES BRISTOL CLASSIC CAR SHOW
Location: The Showground, Shepton Mallet BA4 6QN
Time: 09.30 – 16:00 (both days)
The Footman James Bristol Classic Car Show has an incredible 40 editions under its belt and is the longest-running event of its kind in the UK.
The two-day show will see an eclectic mix of vehicles attending, including the 1933 Monaco Grand Prix Winner that will be located on the Footman James stand (A34) across the entire weekend. The Classic Car Park will not disappoint either as you will be greeted by hundreds of vehicles in the area, all that will automatically be entered into a variety of awards judged by experts including Footman James.
JUNE 23, 2019 – SIMPLY LAND ROVER
Location: John Montagu Building, Beaulieu, Brockenhurst SO42 7ZN
Time: 10:00 – 18:00
Beaulieu will be back with another one of their ‘Simply’ events as Simply Land Rover comes to town.
Similar to Simply VW, Simply Land Rover invites all types, makes and models of Land Rovers.
Simply Rummage will also return for 2019, where visitors will be able to browse the special autojumble dedicated to 4x4s.
For thrill seekers, why not take on the Land Rover Experience with the Forest Drive, giving you the ultimate off-road experience? Whether that be in your own Land Rover, a Land Rover Experience Vehicle or as a passenger.
So, if you love this British icon, then head to Beaulieu this summer!
