Motoring Events this Month: July 2019
We are now past the half-way point in the year and we have seen some incredible classic car and classic bike events take place. Luckily for us, there’s still plenty more hitting our calendars this July! Find out some of our recommended classic car and bike events below.
July 3, 2019 – Earls Barton Classic Car & Bike Meet
Location: Earls Barton Showground, NN6 0EP
Time: 16:30 – 21:00
Between May and September, the Earls Barton Classic Car and Bike Meet runs on the first Wednesday of every month with July aiming to be no different.
What we love about the Earls Barton Classic Car and Bike Meet is the relaxed atmosphere, tasty food and the chance for you to take your time to enjoy each other’s company and talk about your classic car or bike.
Better yet, for just £3 per vehicle, you and your friends have access to the meet. So, get your classics at the ready, notify your friends and have a great time!
July 4-7, 2019 – Goodwood Festival of Speed
Location: Goodwood House, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 0PX
Time: 06:30 – 19:00
We could not miss out on one of the best classic car events of the year, Goodwood Festival of Speed!
Expect big and exciting changes heading to the Goodwood House this month. Get closer to the action than ever before at the Goodwood Arena, exhilarate yourself with the Goodwood Hillclimb, discover some of the most advanced motoring machines in the Supercar Paddock, or view a Concours masterpiece at the Concours d’Elegance, plus a whole lot more.
July 7, 2019 – Classic Motor Hub’s British Coffee & Classics
Location: Classic Motor Hub, Old Walls, Ablington, Bibury, GL7 5NX
Time: 10:00 -13:00
Are you quintessentially British, or love British classics? Then The Classic Motor Hub’s British Coffee & Classics, sponsored by Footman James, is the place for you.

July 9, 2019 – DMG Classic Mini Open Evening
Location: David Manners Group headquarters, 991 Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury, B69 4RJ
Time: 18:00 – 21:00
As it is Mini’s 60th anniversary, our friends at David Manners Group (DMG) are happy to announce that they will be hosting another fantastic Mini open evening.
Popular with Mini enthusiasts, the meet gives you the chance to stock up on all your Mini parts, mingle with like-minded enthusiasts and enter your pride and joy into a range of prizes up for grabs on the night.

July 13 – 14, 2019 – Chateau Impney Hill Climb
Location: Chateau Impney Hotel & Exhibition Centre, Droitwich, WR9 0BN
Time: 07:30 – 18:00
The Chateau Impney Hill Climb is one of our favourite events of the year. Beautiful surroundings, stunning cars and that’s not forgetting our shimmering Footman James Concours d’Elegance!
Unlike many other Concours d'Elegances, our Footman James Concours gives you, the people, the power. You can have your say in the People's Choice Award and vote for your favourite vehicle for the chance to win two VIP tickets to the 2020 Chateau Impney Hill Climb. Located in the stunning grounds of the Chateau Impney Estate, you will be dazzled by the eclectic mix of classic cars, supercars and classic bikes at the show.

July 20, 2019 – The Classic Motor Hub’s Summer BBQ
Location: Classic Motor Hub, Old Walls, Ablington, Bibury GL7 5NX
Time: 17:00 – 22:00
The Classic Motor Hub is busy this July, not only are they hosting their British Coffee & Classics, but The Hub will also be sizzling away at their annual Summer BBQ.
Following their successful Coffee & Classics events, The Hub cordially invites classic vehicle fanatics to their home turf in Bibury.
For just £20 for adults and £12 for children, you also get your choice of the BBQ and a tub of Winston’s award-winning ice cream. But hurry, space at The Hub is limited, so go register your interest now.

July 26 – 28, 2019 – Silverstone Classic
Location: Silverstone Circuit, Towcester, Northamptonshire, NN12 8TN.
Time: Gates open at 07:30 each morning. They close at 23:00 on Friday and Saturday, and at 18:30 on Sunday.
Silverstone Classic brings motorsport action unlike anywhere in the world. The historic venue will be hosting over 20 race demonstrations and an amazing 1,000 race entries.
Hundreds of car clubs will also be in attendance with some spectacular vehicle displays. Silverstone Auctions will be bringing you an unmissable line-up of classics for you to get your hands on and add to your collection.
Not only this, but classic bike Grand Prix legends will also be joining the fun, with the likes of Wayne Gardner, Freddie Spencer and Raymond Roche attending the show.
Tickets start from £45, with the option to purchase camping tickets and hospitality packages too.
